There is no dearth of culinary experiences here. Of course the beach shacks serve some amazing, simple sea food in an awesome setting. There are however, many great restaurants that will take your taste buds for a joy-ride. You should not miss the Crab cakes in Martin’s Corner, South Goa or ambotik curry in Mum’s Kitchen, famous for its authentic Goan food. Do try the fresh pao – special home-cooked breads. For some more choice do try the Thalassa, Vagator. It serves amazing Greek food. If you have a sweet- tooth do try the local sweets or indulge in some chocolate treat by enjoying a chocolate thali at La Plage, Ashwem. It is however more famous for its finger licking French cuisine.

What would Goa mean without the beach! The monsoons give a surreal feel to the sea. Dark clouds and raring winds, will give you a feel of Goa very few tourists have experienced. An early morning stroll along the beach as you take in the lush greenery and fresh air is the ultimate send off from this land of surf, sand and sea!
